Celebrating a Historical Accomplishment!

Xceed Resources was officially certified ISO 9001: 2008 on November 11, 2009. This certification is a milestone for our organization because it is a very challenging certification to obtain. We worked very hard for two years and after many hours of team work we accomplished this long sought after goal. Everyone in the organization contributed to this from our management team to our assemblers to our outside crews and supervisors. That is why on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 we celebrated by taking the day off and treating all of our employees to a wonderful day at Incredible Pizza Company. We enjoyed the delicious all you can eat pizza buffet along with goodies like ice cream, however the highlight of our day was the game room. Everyone had a great time riding go carts, bumper cars, bowling, plus all the games in the arcade. It was an unforgettable day for all of us. Here are some pictures.

TIBH Awards

On October 27, 2009 the Artie Lee Hinds Awards Banquet took place in Austin, Texas. This award is for employees that have had an outstanding performance throughout the year and is presented by the Texas Industries for the Blind and Handicapped. This year we nominated three employees from our organization for this award, Christopher J. Alvarado, from our Assembly Department, Lisa M. Tilson from our City Parks Department and Ricardo Delfin from our Highway Department. These three individuals have shown tremendous effort and excellence in all that they do plus have a wonderful attitude towards their co workers and supervisors. These three employees along with four other staff members traveled to Austin, Texas to participate in the banquet. These employees proudly represented Xceed Resources at the state level and we are very proud of them. Here are some pictures from this event.

Building Make Over

In June 2009 Xceed Resources began the process of changing its name and image from Border TM Industries to Xceed Resources. This meant a total make over from business cards to vehicles to the exterior of the building. Thanks to ten amazing volunteers from Fort Bliss who not only defend our country but actually take time to volunteer in the community we were able to paint the building exterior with our new colors in a short amount of time. We were one of the fortunate organizations that they so graciously helped. It was a day of hard work for them, but they were very happy to interact with some of our employees and enjoy a nice cook out. Here are some pictures from that day and other days when our own staff and other friends volunteered and helped paint as well.
